True, they make the internet free (kind of), but I still take great satisfaction in sharing the following with you. I found a small program that will shut down pop-ups as soon as they open. Install it and take a few minutes to get to know how it works. It's worth it, I promise. |

The program is called POW! and it keeps a running list of websites you have open. It lets you move the ads into a 'slam' section and will automatically close these whenever they appear. You can also choose to pause POW! I highly recommend this program (so far). Go here to download it. |
